Hello Friends!!
“Change The World Day” is almost here, and we are so grateful for the volunteer groups that will be joining us. Thank you! This event simply could not happen without the many folks coming to assist our guests and our community.
As we complete the plans, here is information to share with your group and please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Most of us know that Covington is a busy place on Saturdays. The “Vampire Race” is a road race that will happen prior to Change The World. Some roads will be closed in the area until the race is over. The ONLY way to reach the parking area is from Hwy 36 going north towards town. You must use Hwy 36 which becomes Church St at the Covington Bypass. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED MAP. From Church St., you will turn right onto South St. There will be volunteers on Church St. to direct you to the parking area and volunteers with golf carts to bring you to the campus if you would like a ride.
PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE AT 10:00 AM to allow for time to check-in and be organized before the 11AM start time. There will be tables near the Food Pantry Tent for you to check-in and get final information.
We will serve our community from 11-2pm. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I look forward to seeing you and your group and re-connecting with friends and volunteers. We are an amazing community, and it will be a great day to Change The World together!
